  I liked the previous post better. I dislike Rain/Raine and why would you make the nn "Dylan" ishy. Not a fan.

  Ditto. It seems like a lot of parents who choose names/nn like this want their daughters to be "strong" or "spunky". My personal opinion is, why not embrace the feminine? You better believe I know plenty of strong, independent women with feminine names. Sorry, just a pet peeve of mine. Makes me want to have a daughter and name her the most ridiculously feminine, frou-frou name out there and make sure she can kick everyone's ass just to prove that a girl can be strong no matter what her name.

  ugh. rain/raine/rayn was a big middle name thing a few years ago and i wasn't a fan then. the dylan thing is dumb, nobody's going to be like "oh, is that short for madelyn?"
