Swelling

Yesterday evening after work i had a pedicure planned since i never do anything for myself since we started remodeling our house. I went in and took my shoes off and it was very obvious that i have some swelling going on. Just a little worried and wanted to see if any of you have had this problem yet. I go Friday for my dr.'s apt and will talk more with him about this. Thanks!!!

Yesterday was the first day I noticed swelling in my feet, too. Normally the bones in the top of my feet are VERY prominent, and yesterday I couldn't see them at all! I'm just staying elevated during the day today to see if it helps.

Mine started around 20 weeks. I have sock bands on my ankles almost every night. Mention it to your doc, but totally normal.

A little swelling is totally normal....but just keep a check on your BP....extreme swelling and high BP can go hand-in-hand.

ditto to the replies about blood pressure. my friend just gave birth to a healthy boy but for the past few weeks she had been having a lot of swelling. at first, her docs just thought she was not elevating high enough or long enough each day. turns out she ended up having some bp trouble too.

Sigh. I started to have this too within the last 2 days when I notice sock bands indentations. I forgot to ask my doctor at my appt yesterday but I do know a little swelling is normal and my BP is still normal. Just elevating my legs as often as I can throughout the day and keep salt intake to a minimum.

ugh...i feel like i can't ingest any sodium without it affecting me. it just goes to show you how much sodium is in stuff...
