XP: Vasa Previa Moms

Have any of you had vasa previa? Is that basically a guaranteed c-section? In today's ultrasound, we discovered that I have it. I haven't spoken to my OB yet since the ultrasound was at the end of the day when the OB's office was closed, but what I've found and according to my doula is that it is basically a sure thing.

    I had a complete previa detected at 20 week US and it had completely moved by 27 weeks. If mine hadn't moved it was definitely going to be a c-section, so hopefully yours will correct itself.

    It sounds like you're talking about placenta previa. I'm referring to VASA previa. They're related but different.

    Yeah I was referring to placenta previa. I thought it was the same thing ... my bad!
