I'm trying to figure out whether I need to see a doctor or a MW about this, and I'd very much welcome your suggestions and thoughts and experience.
I had really bad pubic symphysis pain for the last 10 or so weeks I was pregnant. I didn't notice it in the first month or so, but I'm still in pain and can't tell if it's actually my pelvis, or some sort of muscle or other tissue issue. It's a dull ache, like a constant mild cramp, right around my mons pubis and feels like it's happening inside as well. And it's constant--I notice it a few times a day, and it keeps me from sleeping sometimes or sitting comfortably at times. But if this is just a normal part of healing from a vaginal delivery, I don't want to go see a doctor just to hear "you're fine, it'll go away."
So what say you?
Re: Pelvic pain? (possible tmi)
My pubic symphysis pain went away as soon as I delivered, and I don't remember much pelvic pain afterward.
I think I would probably have it checked out to be safe!
