Any grocery stores that have "pick up" service?

I know delivery is all the rage but anywhere that has a drive-thru pick up service (where you order online and then just drive up and they dump it into your car?)?

Re: Any grocery stores that have "pick up" service?

  • We have a grocery store called Busch's. It's like $9 as a charge.

  • Sam's Club used to let you order it all online, then swing by and pick it up. It was all on a large flatbed rolly thing up front, and they simply scanned my merch slip and baddabing! I was out.

That was 2 yrs ago, but it was slick. Of course, it was Sams. Do you really NEED 9 lbs of red peppers?

  • Maybe you could ask on your local board.  There is a smaller, lower end grocery store here in Raleigh that has online ordering with curbside pick-up.  I'd expect it of a nicer upscale store, not this one.  I'm curious if this is a newer service as they are advertising on tv like crazy.

  • Not sure what is in your area but i would suggest going to all there websites and seeing if they offer. By me we have Shoprite who offeres delivery to home and pick up at the store. The pick up at the store they bring it all right out to your car.

    Clearly the conundrum!
  • One of our chain supermarkets has such a service at our local store.  However, I think Publix is just located here in the south.  (Which is sad because I really like them!)  I'd definitely ask on your local board though.
