Success after IF

i think little man is teething

i think he's starting to cut his bottom 2 teeth!  Seems early to me but mom said i had mine in at 4 months too.  He's been drooling nonstop since about 2 months but has been worse in the last week or so.  Sooooo fussy today and difficult to take naps.  And I THINK i see little white tops of the bottom 2 teeth and can feel kinda sharpish ridges that feel like the tops of teeth....but its so hard to tell since when his mouth is open i usually just see his tongue unless he's screaming like he has been today

Re: i think little man is teething

  • Welcome to the early teeth club... Viv got her bottom two teeth at four and a half months, and how has 5 broken through. I'm waiting for her to get that other front tooth in. I got mine around the same age, too.

I'm sort of sad  I never got very many real gummy smile pictures, because she didn't really smile all the time until after they came in!

  • I think I am in the same boat as you.  The drooling has increased, she has been trying to chew her hand off and has had screaming fits that remind me of her colic days.  I did speak to the Pedi and he said I could use orajel and tylenol.  They both seem to help.  I just don't like the idea of using it all the time.

This is the exact thing I just said to dh!  I got him to sleep fairly quickly but haven't seen him scream like this and be this fussy since those newborn ar and colic days!  I sure hope these teeth come in quick!  I can see and feel the tops of them they broke through today i think

  • Poor little guy!  I hope that his teeth pop through soon!
  • Daniel's were out at 4 months too.  Just to warn you - I expected the pain to stop as soon as they came through but it was even worse for about a week after.  They even bled a little.  I used tylenol sometimes before bed at night so he would at least eat well and if he screamed during the day I used baby orajel.  Good luck.  Poor little thing.
