Yesterday I had a bit of a melt down, and began crying about my weight gain and bloating. I said to him, "Look at me, I'm a fat mess" He just looked at me and smiled and said " Honey, that's NOT fat, that's protection. Your protecting our little baby in there. You have to gain some weight to make sure nothing happens to the baby."
Even if it isn't true, it made me smile and made me feel 100% better.
Any comforting things your hubby has said lately?

good answer!!!!
my dh is really good at talking me down from my "pg crazy"! lol
That's really sweet. Let's hear it for good baby daddies and pregnant husbands!
Our sex life has slowed down considerably since finding out. I think we are both processing everything and exhausted, not to mention I've not been feeling great. I've also gained about five pounds (mostly around my middle) and was starting to wonder if hubs was just seeing me as a fat blob laying around all the time.
I asked him if he'd noticed my weight gain and he said he had and I said, "You know it's just the pregnancy, right?" And he said, "What am I, an idiot?"
I told him that I was worried he wasn't attracted to me and he said not to worry that he finds it very sexy. Then we did it this morning and I'm feeling better about it all.
I like the protection theory, though.
