I am so lame!!!!

FI and I met up with his brother, brothers wife and a few friends and went to dinner and to see Joe Rogan at Mandalay Bay last night.  Before pregnancy we used to go out all the time.  Since nothing ever closes here in Vegas there were nights we'd come home at 3-4 in the morning or later. Lol.  What a distant memory that is!!!!!  I was so annoyed with all of the drunk people yelling in the casino, stumbling around. I was jealous of the girls in their cute little outfits.  The show ended at 11pm and we weaved ourselves through the casino to the parking structure and made it home and I was asleep before midnight. My, how the times have changed.

    That is far from lame. Vegas is kind of annoying to me and I wasn't even pregnant when I was there. Of course there are times when that is fun but you definitely have to be in the mood for that type of atmosphere.

    DH and I never go out. Even to free things which are pretty common here in St. Louis. The Zoo, Art Museum, Science Center, and Arch are all free all year and there is even an amphitheater, The Muny, that is free during the summer and they have real plays. Like this summer Legally Blonde, Bye Bye Birdie, Singin in the Rain, etc. We don't even do that so the money thing isn't an issue. Its just laziness and lameness on our part.

    We don't do anything anymore either. We went bowling with a couple friends a few weeks ago....that was a big outing for me. LOL. 

    And because of our horrible weather, yesterday was the first time I was out of the house all week! It was for a doctor's appointment and my glucose test-and I was actually excited! It's sad....lol.

    I can't imagine living near Vegas and being pregnant. I guess I associate Vegas with all my younger party years.

    We went bowling a few weeks ago with friends, too. A movie, dinner and bowling. I was ready to pass out in bed after that busy day. lol

    During the first trimester I did absolutely nothing. Then when I started to get energy during the 2nd trimester I forced myself to do things. Now I am starting to get tired again and I feel the lameness coming back. Yesterday I went to work then had to do stuff for a wedding I was in then DH and I met up with a couple for dinner. By the time I got home at 11 I passed out. Now I am on the couch and can barely move. Saturday on the couch... lame.

    Thanks for commiserating with me ladies!  I'm on a bowling league too (yes I'm a dork ;) ) on Thursday nights.  It started a month before I found out I was pregnant and it goes until a week after my due date.  I haven't had any troubles with it yet, but I'm wondering if I'm going to make it through the majority of the season.  We don't get done until ::gasp:: 9pm.  Since I've had to be sober my average has gone up about 6 pins though...lol.

    We go to Vegas quite a bit and last year we had promised to go for a relatives 30th birthday bash. It was a couple of weeks ago and there were 18 friends/family that all came in from out of town and I was the only sober one all weekend, which was annoying. I think DH felt bad and we spent more time in our hotel room than we ever have in Vegas. It was great to see everyone, but I definitely felt pretty lame. The only good part was the great food at all of the restaurants!

    psht i had tickets to go to chicago and see weezer play the blue album & pinkerton and i decided to just go and give them away because i knew i wouldnt want to be awake past 9pm. SERIOUSLY? WHO DOES THAT?? my dumb ass does. haha. im retarded. or just pregnant and way over tired.
