Lately my daughters hair is just looking awful. She has bangs and should length hair...She has a bit of a wave, so it kind of looks stringy and maybe greasy....Trying to decide what to do...(go shorter, switch shampoos). Hubby hates short hair, but my dd hates for her hair to be brushed, does not want a ponytail. I'm thinking maybe a different style/shorter...Less up keep....thoughts..
Re: If you dd has stringy hair/just a mess!!...
Does she say it hurts to have her hair brushed? If so, get this brush. It is awesome. DD doesn't complain anymore about me brushing out her tangles, and it makes the mornings so much more pleasant.
Tangle TeezerDD#1's hair is like this and DD#2's hair is getting there. I started using my conditioner on it and that has helped a ton!! I also put some BedHead leave-in conditioner in when it's really knotted at night. Only problem with my shampoo and conditioner is they're not tear-free. Right now, I just use my conditioner and try to keep it on the ends and am careful when I rinse it, but I think I need to switch the girls over entirely. The cheap kids' shampoo and conditioner just doesn't cut it on their hair.
(FWIW - I'm using the Kirkland brand of shampoo and conditioner right now and that's what I've been using on the girls.)
