So Wednesday my Dr. appointment was cancelled due to this crazy snow storm. I still called the next day to reschedule because I was having steady contractions at random times....never lasting more than 45 minutes and I kept getting random sharp pains in my back and in my vaginal region. I kept thinking it was probably just her dropping, but I really wanted a Dr. appointment to at least see what was going on. Luckily, I got in about 4 hours after I called. When the Dr. checked me he seemed a little surprised that I was 2cm and 70% effaced already. I understand that doesn?t necessarily mean anything, but here?s to hoping. 
I'm just glad its SOME progress.
I know I could go into labor tomorrow, or a week from now..or 2 weeks from now...but it felt good to know that the twinges, and slight back pain and BH contractions were at least starting something. I'm having less contractions today, but I can tell something is still going on! Oh, and they estimated her at 7.5lbs already... Wow!

I know how you feel. I went in yesterday and found out I'm 2cm and that they think baby is 7 lbs 10 ounces.....and I'm only 36 weeks. I think LO dropped 2 weeks ago & I've been having strong BH for about 1.5 weeks so it was exciting to hear the contractions are doing something. After my appointment yesterday I was having contractions at 6 minutes apart, lasting over a minute each, for about 5 hours. They only stopped after I got home from work, laid down, and ate dinner (DH cooked & did the dishes last night).
My doc said it could be days or a couple of weeks but he doesn't see her staying put much longer. Sooooooo exciting!
