Trouble TTC

Ridiculous...It's just bowling!

Question ladies....I bowl on thursday night's with a group of my best friends. We have been doing this for 8 years this year! I was talking to one of the girls at work and she said:

"Your not going to bowl are you? I wouldnt bowl if I were trying to get KU"

Is it really that bad of an idea? I talked to my doctor after my IUI and I asked her how long I should wait to bowl and she said I could that week (I didnt, I was in too much pain from the OHSS). Just taking a little poll to see what you all think?

  • Um, I would have no problem bowling while TTC/undergoing IF treatments/while KU.  Especially if your dr. OK'd it.  That's a little ridiculous.

  • My mom continued to bowl throughout pregnancy.  As long as you don't have any restrictions from the doctor go for it!

  • I'm running a half marathon while TTC. I was running before we started, I'm not going to stop running now, and I plan to keep running if I get KU. If you've been bowling, your body is used to it. I can't imagine it would be a problem. I probably wouldn't take up rock climbing or sky diving, but bowling seems safe enough. :)

  • Hahaha honestly, my reaction would be to ask my friend if she was insane.  You can't bowl while you are trying to get KU?  That's pretty hilarious.  I wouldn't go out and run a marathon the day after your IUI, but seriously, bowling is not a highly aerobic activity and I am guessing it's a de-stresser for you to hang out with your friends and have fun every week, so I think it is actually a GOOD thing.
