Pain when coughing or sneezing?

I get a quick sharp pain in my left lower abdomen whenever I sneeze or cough hard.  It lasts for just a second. The other day my hormones must have been going crazy because I started screaming at DH about something, and then all of a sudden I got a little throbbing pain in that same spot.  When I laid down and relaxed it went away.  Anyone else experiencing this?  I read it could be round ligament pain.  Hopefully its not signs of ectopic pg.

    sounds like RLP.  I've had a cold and it happens every time i sneeze.  so no less than 346816854684 times a day.

    I have it on the right side!  I sneezed today and it sort of shot down to my groin, but for just a second.  I keep thinking ectopic could be it, but trying to push that out of my mind.  A friend told me she had a lot of cramping on the side she ovulated out of at first, so maybe you were the left ovary and I was the right one??  GL and Congrats!

    Is it low, like along your underwear line? If so, yeah I'd say it's RLP.  It's painful!

    It's low around my underwear line.  I've never felt it on my right side though.  In my googling I did learn that it is commonly on the right side because the uterus tends turn that way.  However, I always seem to feel more sensations on the left side like when I think I am ovulating.

    Oh it will not go away!  I have two healthy daughters and I had that with both of them.  I smile when it happens, it reminds me of growing pains.  You body is stretching.

    I had this same experience, freaked me out at first. Now because I know what it is I have to laugh ever time I sneeze. I have really bad allergies to dust so it happens often. 

    My mom told me yesterday that once I get further on I might pee when i sneeze as well. That should be interesting, if anything I think this pregnancy is going to really help my sense of humor.

    Yes. Like I've pulled an ovary. I've had this before being pregs, but now it is pretty common. I read the same thing about RLP. I am sure that's what it is.
