annoying vent...feel free to pass right over it =)

I love DH to death, but it's so frustrating because he thinks maternity leave = vacation.  DH had a snow day from work  yesterday, so he was home with us.  Of course, of all days, Z was an angel! Even napped for 3 hours, and was content laying/playing by himself off and on!! He is never like this! Usually we spend the day crying/eating/napping for 15 minutes at a time. So yesterday he kept "jokingly" making little comments about me exaggerating how bad the days are so I don't have to do anything around the house!

Today he is back at work, and he just called me to see how we are doing.  I was right in the middle of telling him a story and I said "Do you think I should start giving him 4 oz bottles now?"  And he responds with "Well that sounds fun" I said "you aren't even listening to anything I'm saying, are you?" He said "ok"

Then when I yelled at him he said sorry! I was reading something about the superbowl!!! Gee thanks! Glad you called in the middle of Zs meltdown just to NOT care about anything I had to say!

    Sorry to hear your having a bad day.  I must admit - your conversation made me giggle.  My husband does this all the time

    Sorry DH is being less than helpful. Of course Z would be a little angel while he's home.

    I'm out of useful advice today. The weather makes me cold and useless.

    I totally did know lol. Now I want to watch that movie. Maybe I will since I've got yet another stuck inside day bc after snowpocalypse we have -20 degree wind chill. Yay winter.

    Yep...weather is ridiculous here too!! at least our neighborhood is finally plowed!! I have a best friend date at Olive Garden tonight and I couldn't be more excited to get out of the house for a bit!! I don't care how cold it is..I'm gonna brave it!
