Is anyone using the Clearblue Fertility Monitor or pre-seed? Or both?

I feel like reading the comments left on the website are monitored by them to only say good things about their product, I wanna know from real unbiased people if it's worth buying or not.

    I have not used the monitor but I used pree-seed when I recently got pregnant. resulted in an ectopic preg but not related to the lube.

    I started using the CBEFM in August.  I loved it at first, as of right now I kind of hate it.  I haven't gotten a "peak" reading on it since my 2nd cycle using it.  I don't know why.  FF says I am still Oing.  I know plenty of ladies who will say it is worth the money.  I got mine on EBay, so I didn't pay full price. 

    The only down side I see is you have to pee on it around the same time every day with FMU.  So, if you sleep in one day and miss the window, you are SOL.

    This is our second cycle using pre-seed. I amm not pg, so I can't really say how effective it is. Though you're right - their advertising sure sounds good. I wonder how many women on PgAL used it. I like it, it's easy to use, so that's a good thing.

    I use preseed, but more like a lubricant.  It's ok.  If you don't get a lot of EWCM it's something good to use.

    I use both.  I just started using CBEFM this last cycle (first one after m/c) so I can't really say much about it but it gave me 19 days of High readings and 1 Low reading.  No Peak.  I forgot to turn it on during a few of my non-testing days so the count was off.  I would say that if you are in the beginning of TTC I would try it, but unless you count on using it for awhile so it "gets used to you" I would stick to OPK's. 

    The pre-seed is great!  My DH made fun of me when I brought it home, but once we used it he grabs for it before I do LOL!

    We use preseed. It is great. I have gotten pg when we used it before, but that also ended in a m/c...of course not related to the preseed. :) HTH

    I used pre-seed when I got my BFP but I also used it for 5 months TTCAL with no BFP. After that we moved on to IUI and now IVF so no reason to use it anymore.

    Dx: MFI- 3% morph
    IUIs: Gonal-F + Ovidrel + b2b IUI= BFNs
    IVF with ICSI= BFP! EDD 11/25/11
    3/18- Beta #1 452! 3/20- Beta #2 1,026!! 3/27- First u/s- TWINS!
    Our twin boys arrived at 36w5d due to IUGR and a growth discordance

    FET: Medicated FET moved up to 5/23 due to ovulation
