names with negative associations

Babygirl still doesn't have a name.

There is a name I really like, but it was used in sketch comedy as a joke/negative character and now I'm worried that using it will associate her that way.

So what I was hoping for is ... list any names from bad movies or bad characters in film, TV, books that will be looked down on in a negative way so that I can strike them right off my list.

(for example: Ursula is the bad girl in The Little Mermaid. and Mary Catherine will always smell her armpits and say SUPERSTAR)

I immediately think of trashy pop stars like Britney Spears (and Murphy), Tara Reid, Christina Aguilerra, etc. Oh and diva names like Mariah or Jennifer (Lopez)

Although the name is beautiful, people have pretty strong feelings about Angelina Jolie. I'd steer clear of that one.

I had liked Lorena when my DH and I were picking out names for DD, but he quickly vetoed that because of Lorena Bobbit. I also liked Audrey but he said no because that was the plants name in Little Shop of Horrors. Confused

my husband and I were laughing the other night about the name "Adolf", still make me laugh. We looked it up on the name charts and what do you know, pretty much NO ONE has named there son Adolf since the 1940's! I think that name is cursed for life!

Delilah was a temptress and evil person in the Bible. I still love the name though. So much so, it's my dog's name (since I couldn't give it to a child).

Pandora and Lilith also come to mind.

I think if it's an actual PERSON with that name, which has a negative association, is different than if it's a CHARACTER with that name. Far less people would associate the name with just a character in some random movie/television show/etc. Characters associations fade rather quickly, for the most part.

Any current pop culture names. I can't use Emmett or Bella (Isabella) both of which I LOVE, because of Twilight (Oh and Isabella would be one of 6 in her class anyways). I also really like Vivienne, but I think of Brad and Angelina's kid, even if other people may not.
