If you have a level 2 do you not get an anatomy scan?

Just wondering because I had my dr visit and he talked about the results of the level 2 that was at 18 weeks and never brought up having the anatomy scan now. He was talking about it before the level 2. I got into some other questions and forgot to ask about it. Anyone know the answer?

I think, but I may be wrong, that a level 2 is just another name for anatomy scan. I was sent for a level 2 b/c my first dd had issues we found during the u/s. They did all the normal measurements there as well, along with gender and we won't be having another u/s.

I asked this the other day. The script I have from the dr is a check off type one. She just checks off which test you will be getting. She checked off level 2 u/s. There is no option for anatomy scan on the form. It's basically 2 different names for the same thing.

Level 2 usually means they are looking at something more specific in depth. However, since it is so in depth they may have gotten all your measurements during that time...

My anatomy scan is being done by a specialist instead of at my regular OB's office. She referred to it as a "Level 2 Anatomy Scan." If you had one at 18 weeks, I would think it's the same thing.
