Update - measuring 1 week behind

I posted a couple of weeks ago that during my 1st "normal" OB visit the baby was measuring 1 week behind on the u/s but had a great HB, 171. I knew when I ovulated - I charted & used CBEFM so I was extremely worried.

Last week I went in for another u/s to check to see if the new EDD was correct. It was not! Yay, I don't have to change my due date and my baby is healthy!! I guess that 1st u/s was just a fluke. Thanks for all the support you ladies gave me.

    My first u/s measured a week off, too!  It worried me a little, but I wasn't quite as sure about my dates, since we weren't exactly trying - we thought we couldn't have more kids!  My NT scan showed that I was right back on track... silly babies seem to grow at their own pace, huh?

    The same happened to me as well! My first ultrasound I measured a week behind...went into the hospital for a "better" ultrasound a week later and measured right on track. Such a relief!

    This happened to me as well--was very scary to hear at first but then had the second ultrasound and everything was fine--Glad it worked out for you as well!

    Same thing with me...i measured 12 days behind...according to my dates, i should be due 8-17, but they told me 8-28, which bums me out b/c i am in a wedding on 9-10 which is 5 hours away from my house!  I am hoping that my NT scan on 2-16 will change my dates.  my DR was worried b/c they said that could mean a m/c (SCARY!), so that day, i went in for another U/S and the baby was fine and measuring according to the dates the ultrasound tech said in the beginning and the heartbeat went from 145 to 183...

    I'm glad that LO caught up.   Please don't be surprised if your date changes again. With DS my date changed four times. Although the dates where only a few days apart it made me so nervous.

    Again I'm glad your LO caught up, now hopefully he or she doesn't do anything else to worry you. Smile
