If you did 2 or more IVFs, how did your cycle differ?

I sure hope you guys don't mind me picking your brain as often as I do. I feel like I 1/2 live here 'cause I'm always asking questions.. I guess I'm just preparing to join you in January Wink

AF is slowly showing her evil little head this morning, which I'm glad about because I'm ready to start IVF #2!  I am curious though how your cycles differed from cycle to cycle. With mine we only got 5 eggs, which I'm sure will remain constant. But does the quality change?  With ours, we put back 3 but only 1 was good quality. It was 7 celled B quality (A being the best, but apparently rare) The doctor only have us a 30% chance. 

Did anyone experience a drastic change, or is everything pretty similar?

    Ask away!  :)

    My cycles were almost identical.  The only difference was that I insisted on switching to PIO shots instead of progesterone supps (we had a chem pg the first time).  I stimmed the same number of days, got a very similar number of eggs, similar embryos, etc.

    For me it seemed thing were a little better(or so it looked). I did accupuncture and had a 30% chance as well....the accupuncture raised it to 65% chance.

    The first IVF we got 10 eggs 8 fert and we put back 3 (1 good and 2 ok)...none took....

     The second we got 11 eggs and only one fertilized...but it took and was a grade 3~ 8 cell... 

    miracles do happen!

    We did 3 IVFs.  All 3 were very similar.  We ended up with similar # of embryos, fert rates (even though we ICSI'd last two cycles), and quality.  I think my body knew what it was supposed to do and didn't stray from that.  GL!

    My second cycle was an antagonist protocol and that increased our egg count by 120%. We had good quality, just not enough eggs..
