What are the tricks to see if there's a super faint line?

When I was on GP a few yrs ago people used to take a picture of the HPT and then do something to see it better. Does anyone know what that is?

It's super early to test and of course DH sees nothing but I swear I see something super faint...

Umm take a digital? I don't know. I always do digital so I don't have to worry about the line. I did a line test with DD and had to wait all day in wonder if that line was really there or not before I could test again so since then it was digital all the way!

I learned this the hard way. Cheap tests are always ambiguous for me, only digital is fool-proof.

Or if you have photoshop, open the Image and go to Edit-->Invert

Take a digital test. There's no trickery in a yes or no answer

Just a note that digital tests can take days longer to show a positive result. So of course you can wait till you find out you're pregnant. You can wait till you start showing too. But for the purpose of actually answering your question....if the line is super faint on an HPT, a digital probably won't give you a positive at this point.

Post it or send it to me and I'll tell you if I see it. Mine was so faint at 9DPO that my DH thought I was nuts too, but it was definitely there!

They also say that if u take the test first thing in the morning (first pee) the hormone will be at it strongest and the line might show better!

WOW, I didn't expect all these answers so fast....thanks ladies!

And yes I know to test again later but I'm impatient and snowed in (with no digital)....and DH leaves the country in 2 days for a few weeks so I want to know.

I'll see if I can invert and put on here while DD's napping. thanks!!

I see the line in both pictures. It's SUPER faint, but it's there.

Edit to add: It does kind of resemble an evap line to me though, the more I look at it. I would get a FRER (NOT digital) when you can. I've got my fingers crossed for you though!

Thanks ladies, I will definitely be testing again tomorrow am before DD's tubes and hopefully will pick up a digital while we're out as well as a FRER....I hope it is a real line!!
