  • I don't think I understand how you are all froxen how cold is it?  It has been -20 for three days here and we are just fine.  We did freeze a little big in the spetic of our second house last cold snap but that is since we have very little going into that one

    When they build houses here they don't anticipate this kind of cold. So the pipes aren't typically insulated like they are in the north.

    Very very true here.  I have a pier & beam foundation house and all the pipes just run underneath it with no insulation (something we're looking to fix someday).  The water coming out of our pipes is ice cold right now, but so far no frozen pipes.
