Any good Valentine's Day plans?

I guess time really is flying by now. I kept thinking I had a long time to come up with something, but it's only 2 weeks now. So, do you have anything planned for that weekend? What about gifts for YH? I had an idea a few weeks ago, but I can't think of it now to save my life.

I've always hated Valentines day really.

We have H's bday in November, Christmas in December, Our anni in Jan and come feb I am just done with the gift spending. Scrooge...I know. lol.

Since I'm on bedrest maybe he'll cook me a nice dinner if he isn't working. If he works thats fine too. lol

Well we are getting all dressed up and going to the melting pot. And by dressed up I mean I am making DH wear something besides a t-shirt and jeans. Im hoping for dress pants and a polo haha. But we will see if he actually does it. I bought a cheap but cute dress, im hoping it will give me a little boost because ive been feeling like a fat cow lately...

It's our 6 month wedding anniversary, which is kind of mind-blowing for me, considering I'd always been adamantly against marriage until I met DH.

We're doing our thing on Saturday, since we work 4-midnight on the actual day.

We're going to head over to another couple's house, and I'm going to help her make dinner for our DH's.

We probably won't do gifts, simply because with the issues we've had this winter, money's tight right now.

We typically don't "celebrate" Valentine's Day. I do miss being "home" for V day though...my Mom always got me nonpareils from a homemade chocolate store. MMmmmm

As long as the weather is nice enough, we are going to have a sunset picnic dinner.

I'm giving DH a medium-sized ice cream scoop. He broke our last one and uses it exclusively to make meatballs. He's been talking about a new one for months, so I promised I would get one for Valentine's.

He's giving me a new ring since my wedding rings haven't fit for weeks.

i was supposed to be on a business trip but now won't be leaving until the next day. so i guess i'll be packing.

dh and i usually just exchange cards. once when we were still courting, he made me chocolates... that was nearly 10 years ago, but i'm still giving him credit for it.

We stopped doing gifts many years ago. We'll exchange cards and I usually get him some chocolates and he will probably give me some flowers. Since DH has the evening off (usually works 4-1AM) we are going to make a nice dinner at home with a special dessert. Then I'm sure we'll watch The Bachelor! Believe it or not DH loves watching this show with me and is always excited to see it when his night off falls on a Monday!

No plans here!! I was thinking about this today actually - if we're going to get anything for each other, go for dinner, celebrate in any way. We are going away the week after (a mini-babymoon), so my guess is we will leave it till then!

Besides, every day is Valentine's Day in our house Ick!

Probably not anything. We usually don't bother much with it (although one year, he did get me a pair of spin shoes...something actually usefull that I continue to use 3 years later). Although, last night he asked why so many commercials for jewelry and I reminded him v-day was coming up, so who knows.

We don't exchange gifts, and I don't think we'll do anything either. It falls on a Monday, so that means we'll probably eat dinner at home, put DS to bed ,then watch "The Bachelor" Stick out tongue

My hubby is a Valentine's Day baby, so every year I insist that we celebrate his birthday instead of a made-up holiday. Every year, he still buys me flowers and writes a silly poem in an even sillier card. For his birthday, I bought him an hour of driving time behind the wheel of a Ferrari at a local driving school. He's a total gearhead, and I can't WAIT to see his reaction!

Every year I make my now fianc? chocolate covered pretzels and sugar cookies since they are his favorite! We usually just do cards and he gets me flowers but I'm hoping for a prenatal massage this year!

If we do anything it would have to be over the weekend since I work all day and go to school on Monday's till 9:30 blah! But we will definitely watch the bachelor when I get home! And maybe he will think to make me dinner?! We shall see...
