How do YOU use your hemp inserts?

I just go my AFFF inserts yesterday :::squeee::: and I'm wondering what you guys pair them with?Pocket diaper? Fitted? Add a microfiber insert- if so which insert is closest to baby (when in a pocket)? I'm using them for night time, in a happy hempy or thirsties duo fitted paired with a full size microfiber insert with a wool cover

I only use OS Pockets, but I normally just put it on the bottom and the microfiber insert on top (closest to baby) and then put them both in the pocket. I have also used them on their own in a pinch during the day or just done two hemp inserts w/o a microfiber insert overnight.

Pretty much this... I have read that you should put microfiber on top for fast absorption and I actually use them on their own. DD is not a heavy wetter.

I do hemp alone in pockets during the day. At night I use two hemp inserts and one microfiber in a pocket. If I use a fitted overnight I throw a hemp doubler in a fitted. I pretty much always use a hemp insert when I go out of the house for a nice trim diaper.

I do a fleece liner next to DD's skin then the hemp liner then her prefold and cover.

I have six of them and they go in my daughters' night diapers. My 3.5-month-old wears a FB OS with a Loopy Do and an AFFF. My 16-month-old wears a BG 3.0 with a Super Do or a BB combo insert and an AFFF. The AFFF goes on the bottom as hemp absorbs slower than the other inserts.

I got mine too! They are so long! If you double one which you have too I guess, it is super bulky on my peanut if I add a microfiber one as well. do you have this problem? I would have to cut one in half for that to work.

If I use a pocket, I use the hemp alone (1 unless it's night or going out, then we'll use 2). If I use it with MF (which is nearly never as I don't like MF) I put the hemp closest to baby. I find that natural fibers are more forgiving and take in liquid faster.

I typically use my FooFoo folded into quarters under the soaker layer of my BG Elementals. This is my main nighttime diaper for months now. So easy. Also, I like to put them under the soaker layer of a Goodmama for nights. I trifold it for the GMs.

They are great to add as a booster on any diaper.
