They always say to get at least 30 min a day of activity. On your non-zumba days, try getting a walk in or something that'll get your heart rate up for awhile. I'm a big advocate for the 30 Day Shred now that I've been doing it for awhile. Have you looked into that?
I lift heavy weights 4 days a week and some sort of cardio 6 days a week. I have one built in rest day.
Disclaimer - I just started this a week ago so the above is more a goal than anything else! LOL I lost nearly 80lbs last year through diet alone and am now trying to drop the last 35 and am hoping that working my butt off in the gym along with a good diet is the answer.

I do more intense work-outs about 4 days a week.. and every other day of the week I make sure I keep active in some way. Even if it's taking my DD for a walk or playing in the snow... I like to find some way to keep active everyday.
Every day-- I run between 5-8 very day, my "rest" days I typically do 3 miles but I only take them once every couple of weeks. I am addicted to pounding the pavement... or the treadmill.

This is me. Although one day a week is usually active rest (walking a few miles or yoga).
