I wonder what kind of fruits the people at TB have - i went from a peach last week to a lemon this week? really? Those are either some awfully small peaches or some mighty large lemons. Hmmm.....
I do have a lemon tree in my backyard, and those lemons are the size of softballs! Much larger than the average peach...though, I agree in general I would think of a lemon as smaller than (or the same size as) a peach.
The geniuses that make up the Bump Gods lost me at a fugly prune that looks like a rock though...so I take their fruit ticker with a grain of salt
I feel like babycenter is more accurate haha. its really the LENGTH not the size... crown to rump is x amount long and a lemon is x amount long so voila! haha. Its all so odd

I felt the same way when I went from a Lime to a Plum. The Limes that I see at the store are pretty big (almost as big as the lemons). I thought maybe they meant a key lime, but my baby book specified that it was a "Large Lime" at 11 weeks.
I go more on the length now, which for me is about 2.5 inches this week. I like how on BabyCenter they show the picture of the fruit next to a quarter, so you can compare it.
Yeah my mom and I have laughed about the fruit comparisons too. I still have my account on fertility friend and they have a pregnancy tracker. They do an update with each week telling you what the baby is doing this week. I find it a lot more informative than what the bump has and they only give the length in inches and centimeters.

I take photos with the fruit of the week every single week and yes, the lemon was much bigger than the peach. Maybe PA just has huge lemons.
Such a cute idea:)
I was thinking about the fruit comparison as well and I keep trying to remind myself of the difference between the organic and non-organic fruit at the store. The non organic fruit can be HUGE!!

lol...my dd likes to name the ticker fruits, but when she gets to the prune, she says quizzically, "poop?"

YUM! I want some lemons. Can I have some? hehe
YES, I can't possibly use them all up. It's crazy the amount of lemon that tree puts out every year.
I need some lemon recipes...I got some random bit of energy the other day and made lemon bars - used up a whopping one and a half (softball-sized, lol) lemons. I need inspiration! And someone to take some lemons off my hands

This is what I was thinking. I am like great I rather go straight to peach!

I think the fruit analogy thing is pretty stupid simply because most fruits come in such a ridiculous variety of sizes.
