So my moms coworkers daughter gave me a bunch of hand me down clothes. She put them in two big Coach bags. It will be the closest I ever get to a Coach bag. I think I am going to save them so that I can put next years Yankee Swap gifts in them, to throw people off. LOL. I love hand me downs though, especially for play clothes.
Re: Hand me down clothes
Me too! Outfitting these two gentlemen is getting pricey!
4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!
sFET 11/9/11 - Beta 11/18 BFP!
My cousins and I have thing we do - we mark our kids clothes with our name on the tag and we swap them back and fourth.
Currently my one cousin hasn't had to BUY a single item of clothing out of this deal. I pretty much had to buy almost everything girl's wise since I had the first girl and didn't start getting any boy stuff until recently since two of us had boys around the same time!
Once we no longer have a kid in those sizes we put them in a bin marked gender and size/season and one of us stores them. Next one to have baby get the bin. So far my girl clothes have been worn by 3 little girls and are still in great shape!
I planned on passing down all our clothes to my brother and his wife but it turns out we will be having babies within a month of each other. I was planning on off loading everything, exersaucer etc...
Oh well. I have been lucky. I haven't had to buy too much in clothes since my DS was 1. Also a lot of the "hand me downs" still have tags on them. Sweet.
