Soo I made the chicken buffalo wing dip that a lot of people have talked about on here. So far I have made it twice. I have two friends who have asked me for the receipe. I guess I will just give it to them but for some reason I feel hesistant.

Re: Do you share receipes with people?
I always share recipes, especially since I most likely got them from someone else!
Of course! I'll share any recipe that someone asks for...why not? If they are asking for it, they like/appreciate it and want to make it later and pass it along to others.
I would take it as a compliment.
i do, though i don't really like to lol. i know its a compliment if someone wants the recipe, but i'm secretly afraid that they're going to "steal my thunder" so to speak.
but ultimately, i do share my recipes. with the exception of my great grandmother's persimmon pudding. that one is one i refuse to share simply bc its not worth my time to do so when i know the people(specifically MIL) requesting it aren't going to go through the effort of making it anyway. so i'm just not going to waste my time lol.
A chicken buffalo wing dip that you got from The Bump? Yeah, I think you can go ahead and share that one. I find it odd that you would even be hesitant.
LOL, I guess I just figured it was kind of going to by my signature thing in my circle. Oh well. I'll spread the love...
I agree. I share all the time.
Growing Up Olson
The only time I didn't want to share was when my dad's GF asked for my Grandma's stollen recipe. My great grandmother (on my mom's side) brought it over "on the boat" so to speak, when she came to the US. I think it had more to do with hating my dad's GF, though
Any thing else is fair game, though. Not to mention, all you have to do is google "buffalo chicken dip" and they'd know the recipe anyway.

I love sharing recipes. My friends and I made an ongoing message of Facebook to swap recipes back and forth that we like because we were getting sick of making the same thing all the time.
I would take it as a compliment, and if you are going to bring the dip to a get together just tell them ahead of time.
