I used preseed last night for the first time and pee'd after sex as usual. The last few hours my "pee hole" has been feeling itchy/burny. I went pee like normal, and had a normal amount come out and it kinda burned coming out. Does this sound like a UTI? ive never had one and im concerned that the preseed might have something to do with it.

Re: what does a UTI feel like?
usually it is a burning sensation when you urinate along with an urge to urinate more frequently. You can also have pain in the area where your bladder is and fever.
How much preseed did you use? Maybe some of the preseed went into your urethra and irritated it...that could potentially feel like a UTI but not be related to any infection.
Anytime I have a particularly "rough" sexcapaid my vaginal area gets really swollen and every time I pee for the next few hours burns like you wouldnt believe. I can see where this could be confused with a UTI if i hadnt had one before.
UTI's feel different to different people. I think the most common symptom is the burning sensation you get when you pee. But when I get that I feel it burn up higher in my urethra, not right at the "exit". Also frequent urination, I usually have back pain in the kidney area, and I can "feel" my bladder. I usually get a pressure sensation in my bladder and that is usually my first UTI symptom. I also feel more bloated around my bladder.
Again, this could just be due to the kind of sex you had or even possibly being allergic to the preseed if the burning pain goes away in a few hours.
If the pain continues over the next few days though Id see your doctor. If they prescribe you antibiotics to clear it try eating a yogurt 2X a day (one that contains all 5 live active cultures) for as long as you are taking the meds. This should help keep the potential yeast infection (that I always get taking the antibiotics) away. After all that is said and done Id consider taking a cranberry extract supplement 1X a day to help stave off any future UTI's. Cranberry has worked wonders for me but I can never drink enough to get the benefit.
Sorry, know that's a lot of info, but I hope it helps!
Basically what the PP's said.
When I get a UTI I get a very full, pressure-y feeling in my lower belly/bladder.
It burns to pee (like pp said, not right at the opening of the urethra, but a little higher up). It gets PAINFUL sometimes, occasional itch.
& frequent urges to tinkle but almost nothing comes out.
I used to get UTI's all the time (MH is military, before we were married I'd only see him every few months, and that means tons of sex haha), even if I pee before and after sex, sometimes for no reason.
I started taking a cranberry supplement daily (you can buy a bottle at walmart for like 8 bucks), and making sure I drink at least 64 oz of water a day and I haven't had a UTI since.
The one time I had a UTI several years ago, it felt like agonizing pain when I peed. Haven't felt anything else like it, ever. We're talking gasping-for-breath clutching-onto-something gritting-my-teeth agony. It was awful.
If it keeps up, definitely go get checked out by your doctor. It will need a prescription to get cleared up. For temporary band-aid relief as you wait for the doc appointment to roll around, check out AZO...that stuff saved my life while I was waiting for my doc appointment and then waiting for the rx to kick in and get rid of the infection. Be sure to wear a pantiliner, because it turns your pee neon orange and it will stain your underwear.
