I started with sz. L planet wise wet bags and then moved to my trash can with PW pail liner. I just couldn't get enough diapers in the wetbag and was finding working the zipper a PITA. I use my large wetbags for daycare though.
We use both a hanging wet bag and a diaper pail. The wet bag hangs next to DD's changing table and is used for pee-only diapers. We have the diaper pail downstairs in our laundry room and we put the nighttime diapers (strong smelling ones) and poo ones in it after they've been sprayed.

This. I HATED the hanging wetbag. We were going to get a pail with a PW liner and were talked out of it by the lady at our CD store. The zippers are the biggest PITA ever on a wetbag. I thought it's be great to save space but it was not worth it at all. Now I have a pail with a spring top (you push it to open and then push again to close) and it holds just as many diapers. I only have 24 FB OS so I was every 2-3 days anyways, so I didn't need a larger pail.
I have FB hanging wet bags -- they are fine for regular pee diapers, but you leave an over night in there or a poopy diaper for longer than 12 hours and WHOA NELLY -- I wish I had a can with a top. I actually found instructions online for using a FB hanging pail inside a regular pail with a lid and I"m going to convert, since i don't want to buy new pail liners.
