First solo outing w/ LO = SUCCESS. : )

So I just took DS to the grocery store on our first solo trip out of the house w/out DH. He was perfect. Of course its all about timing. We went right after his last feeding so that he would be sleepy - and it worked! Even had time to put everything away, chat w/ my SIL, and eat lunch. Woohoo. DS has been a very challenging baby - so while this may seem like a late 'milestone' for some - for us it was awesome!

That's awesome! Olivia and I had ours not long ago too. We have a 2 door car and my husband was afraid I wouldn't be able to get her in and out of the back.

Awesome! I wanted to go to Target today but it's 20 min away and LO hates the car seat so I wussed out.

That's great! I always feel a bit empowered when DS and I can do couple errands on our own. For us it is if he feels like napping in his carseat which is hit or miss sometimes. Glad you were able top accomplish your shopping and enjoy lunch too!
