I've been testing faint for a week and my OB apparently quit so I've been dealing with a new doctor who doesn't know me from a hole in the wall. The only thing I think now is that it's maybe ectopic since my levels must be still super low. Any information would be very helpful. Thanks ladies!
After 2 m/cs, dx October 2008 with hetero factor v leiden & mthfr & low progesterone; third time was the charm - BFP 3/19/09 on first cycle of clomid.

Re: Ectopic ladies - I have a question
When I had my ectopic my line was actually VERY visible. The only way they knew it was ectopic was during the u/s they couldn't find anything, they were thinking maybe it was still early and so they tested my HCGs which revealed the ectopic. They weren't able to locate LO until about a week or so later.
Are you testing with a HPT or HCG levels?

OMG!!! I don't have any info, but I hope baby is sticky in the right spot for you! :::hugs:::
Tiffany- I have not seen your BFP! Are you getting betas done? Could it be the brand of test you are using??
I agree w/Becky I hope this is a sticky one!
Thank you ladies for sharing that info. I googled faint pregnancy tests and that's why I started to think ectopic since I read about faint lines and them not getting darker.
Becky&Ring - I haven't posted a bfp. I was shocked to see a faint line last week and in denial I think. I tested with another faint on Thursday. Called OB and found out he was gone. The new OB wanted to check on my info with a specialist to see how to treat me. I called again this morning (after getting another super faint positive) and they agreed to run betas so I'm going for that today. I kind of feel like this is going no where good so I'm just ready to get it done with if it's something bad. And if it's bad, DH is going to schedule a vascedomy(Sp?) immediatly - I cannnot take this anticipation/worry/heartache. It's too much.
So sorry this is so stressful Tiff : ( I completely understand your feelings about this, when I thought we were losing this LO I wanted to be checked immediately, because if we were losing it, I wanted it over with as soon as possible. I hope your betas are high enough to where they think they will see a hb and you see it in the right spot! We're here for you no matter what!

This was my situation exactly...
My line and my betas were actually high to normal.
I started to spot, and then I started to have a LOT of pain on my left side - like, get me to the ER pain. There was definitely and clearly "something wrong." This was at 6.5 weeks.
If you believe it might be ectopic, say so and get an ultrasound done ASAP.
I have no reason to think it's ectopic except for Dr. Google suggesting it as a cause for my faint positives all week. I'm painfree and spotting free right now.
Don't make any rash decisions! Just take it one day at a time. I know you are scared, but you also know the worry is worth it if it does work out. Just try to remain calm.
Keep us updated!! I'll be thinking positive thoughts for you!
