IUI ladies

Hi

I am getting ready to start my third cycle for IUI. I am really discouraged because I really thought that we would be pregnant by now (Unexplained IF). I am worried that since the last two didn't work I am just setting myself up for dissapointment. Hoping you can knock some optimism back into me. Did it take any of you more then two IUI's to get pregnant? We cannot afford IVF and I am unsure how many more IUI's the RE will allow.

    I got pregnant on my 3rd IUI.  I did Femara+trigger+IUI.

    Dx: PCOS/Amenorrhea/Anovulatory/lining problems. Clomid = BFN's. Lots of cancelled cycles due to thin lining or cysts. IUI#1= Follistim, estrace and endometrin = BFN IUI#2= Repronex, follistim, viagra suppositories and endometrin= BFN. IUI#3= Repronex, follistim, viagra suppositories, femtrace and endometrin= BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Isabella born in June via C-section!!!!! She is so incredible! Went back to RE to TTC#2 and got a WONDERFUL surprise!! Baby #2 on their way!! My Beautiful son Liam born Feb, 2011!! Lilypie image Lilypie First Birthday tickers

    Don't give up hope.  I was going through the process one more time before ending all treatment and then found of I'm pregnant!!!!

    It took 3 years, and had 6 failed iui's, my 7th did the trick!!!  good luck!

    I know its hard! We were pretty much unexplained and it took 7 IUI's before it stuck!!! We too couldnt afford IVF at the time (had no coverage for it), so we just kept trying IUI's..Hang in there and best of luck!!!

    Our 3rd IUI, but first with injectables worked for us!  Good luck and keep your head up!
