I like this Q! Well let's see, I was 17 & it was my sr. year of high school, so I was probably hanging out with my HS boyfriend. We spent ALL our spare time together (That is, when he wasn't cheating on me - douche!).
I would have been a freshman in college. I either would have been at home for the weekend, which means DH and I would have been out to the movies or something. Or, I would have been at school, either at a frat party or a sorority function. Actually, this early in the evening, I would have been primping and pre-gaming. My, how times have changed!
Since it was just before I turned 21...getting into the bars with my sister's ID. Then getting super drunk and doing things I regret with guys at the bar

College: 8:45 was dinner, primping, and pre-gaming until 11:00pm. Now, I'm usually in bed by then.

I would probably still be at work. If not, I'd be home cleaning my apartment, which is what I normally did on Friday nights...I swear I wasn't as boring as I sound, but I did work a lot back then and always liked to start my weekend with a sparkling clean house (still do).
ETA: Geez, I must be a lot older than everyone in this post. I was 28 years old ten years ago.
I was in grad school..enough said. My Friday nights were library, studying or research. Blah. I'm so happy to be done with that. 10 years ago...wow, this post just made me feel old:(

I was single, or casually dating, after leaving the same Greek dude for 8 years. I was bartending on weekends (producer for tv commericals weekdays) so likely I'd be working tonite at the jazz club, but also likely I brought a change of clothes and would be heading out at midnight or whenever I got cut. I was skinny, super cute, and knew someone everywhere went, so I never really worried about having plans. I was a kissing bandit, but very rarely went home with them. (wink) I was in no mood to "settle down", even when I met Davez the summer of 2001. (yet I knew the moment I did, that I should. lol)
I don't miss those times so much as I miss having the girls over to my cute apartment, sipping wine and singing chic songs, and piling in the cab to go out for the nite. I watch Jersey Shore and get a lil' nostaglic. (although we never fist-pumped)

I was too!
We were called the "Smoke Free Class of 2000", pretty funny cause most people smoked lots lol.

OMG, 2001...Thank goodness we aren't talking 2000!
2001 January...Tommy and I were living in an apartment that we had just moved into in October...We were definitely drinking and going out to either a house party or a bar.
And then we would come home and sleep in the next day!!! crazy!!!
Ten years ago, I was 23. I had just moved to the Big City on my own and didn't know anyone. I spent most evenings sitting in my bedroom on my computer chatting with people online. Sometimes I met up with local folks trying to make friends, but only one stuck. In August of 2001 I met DH and very soon spent ALL my free time with him.
I was likely to have been working my second job after having taught all day. DH, legally DH but not quite formally DH, would have been at home doing homework for his MBA program. Our family wedding was 10weeks away. OMG my life has been boring for 10yrs.
Now 15yrs ago.....I would have been primping for a night at the bars while doing the prebar shots at home.
Umm I was 20, a Sophmore in College..So we were probably out some where in Keene NH getting wasted or getting ready to go out to get wasted...
At that time I was living with 4 girls in a house and we had 5 boys living in the house behind us. It was a CONSTANT party all day everyday..I don't think I studies at all that year but boy did we have fun! I hope I don't have to ever explain those college years to Jake...
One of my college roomates is actually coming to visit me this weekend and see Jake for the first time!

Ditto, pre gaming with vodka and crystal light. Yikes!
Friday nights were usually spent doing happy hour with my girls. I met my husband 10 years ago next month but that was on a Saturday when we would go friggin crazy and drink our faces off. Friday's were a dress rehearsal for Saturdays ; )

Friday night 2001 - I was in grad school in Philly living with my BFF who was in med school. Right now we would be pre-partying and getting ready to head to the bar around 10:00. Tonight I will be in bed at 10:00 : )
I was 21. I was probably drinking in the shower (yes, we were Klassy and drank in the shower) and then primping to go out. I probably would have drank way too much, gone to after hours, drank even more and eventually stumbled home with my girlfriends. We would have slept in and then ate junk all day to cure the hangover and then did it all over again that night.
Actually, I probably had gone to FAC (friday after class) and had cheap drinks and then went home and continued to drink while getting ready. My friends and I were out of control! lol!
The funny thing is, the years that I partied the most in college were the years that I got the best grades/made the dean's list!
We always said that if we partied hard, we had to study hard!

I was 21 and still living in Missouri and was a Nanny so I was probably playing with the kiddos and putting them to bed and then watching a movie or something (I was a live in and had no life).
twin girls after 43 months of TTC..
Katherine Emily (5 lbs 12 oz 19 1/4 in) and Karly Elizabeth (5lbs 7 oz 19 in)
!!My bio!!!!My Blog!!
Probably in my room with my friends either just hanging out or preparing to go to "Tri-Kap" (the mostly Korean fraternity where we hung out since all of my friends were Korean) for a "Rave". LOL. Rave = blacklights and a DJ instead of the usual classic rock on a boom box and beer in a basement.
Or I might have been visiting my brother in Queens and going to bars in the Village.
I was either out with my college boyfriend, or out with my girlfriends. I was a junior in college, and I definitely went out every weekend!
I think that almost exactly 10 years ago this time, the radio station where I worked was hosting a wine tasting at the Dave & Buster's at the Providence Place Mall. So I got drunk and worked the crowd!

I was one year out of grad school and Art and I were living together during the first year of 'real life'....working full time (it was actually the crappiest year in our relationship...a make it or break it year). We were either going out to HH with coworkers, or chilling at the local bar playing pool, or I was running the next morning with my marathoning coworkers so I was limiting myself to two drinks and running 13 miles in the am.
I was 26, in my final months of grad school in VA, traveling to NC for many extended weekends to interview, visit now-DH and other friends, and watch basketball too. Or I was in my apartment falling asleep in front of the Travel Channel when I was supposed to be writing my thesis.

It was my freshman year of college so I was 18/19. It was a pretty crappy year family wise, my dad spent 9 months in the hospital and had 3 open heart surgeries. So I started off visiting my dad than headed over to the firehouse to met my then bf. We would go out to some local bar or back into the city. Pretty much that was what I did!

I had just emerged from two years as an investment banking analyst (working at least 100, but usually a lot more hours per week), so I was trying to remember how to have a life!
I was probably going out with my roommate and ending up at the after-hours bars (open until 4am!) because I had been cooped up for too long. I think it took a year to get that out of my system.
I traveled for work every week and, 10 years ago, I was on a project in Dallas and lived in Northern VA. This project was ridiculous in terms of timing. So, at this time on a Friday night, I was probably on a plane flying home.
Re: Flashback Friday... What were you doing 10 yrs ago tonite?
I was 19 years old so...
probably out dancing with friends or hanging out with my douche bag ex bf.
Ha.
Beer. lots of beer. My BFF and I used to go to a bar called "The Post" every Friday night. Trouble. We were trouble.
