Trying to Get Pregnant

Drink til its pink - What's your favorite red wine?

Ladies, I'm mostly a lurker but I'm trying to participate more and stick my toes in the water.  :)

I'm 9 DPO.  I don't know WHY I convinced myself to test today after work but I did.  Of course it was negative.  Now I'm thinking of heading to the store to buy a bottle of wine.

Drink 'til its pink, right?!? (I learned that here...hehehehe)  Anyone else drinking tonight?  What's your favorite red wine? (Looking for suggestions)

  • Barefoot Merlot is my all time favorite!

  • Menage a Trois Red. FABULOUS! Black opal cabernet shiraz is also a fave!

  • I'll have to check that out!
  • Menage a Trois Red - that's my go-to regular wine!  Good choice!

I find a lot of shiraz wines too spicy but mixed with a cab is probably fabulous.  Thanks for the tip!

    Cellar 849 Blackberry Cabernet.

Delicious.  I want some right now, but they were sold out when we went yesterday to pick some up.  Boo.

oooh, sounds delish!  i'll put it on my list!

  • I love Blackstone Merlot....as a matter of fact I might need to have a glass :)

Jennifer, are you from Texas?  That's the only place I've seen that wine sold!  (I'm from Houston originally.)  I find it a bit sweet.  I bet it'd be great in a sangria!

I LOVE malbecs.  Anything from the Mendoza region in Argentina has been a hit with me!

I am from Texas! :) I love the Llano wines. I don't really like extremely dry reds. Actually, I don't even know how to describe it because I have an F- for wine knowledge, but sometimes they are nasty. :)

I also love pinot noir.  I think I just love wine in general.  :)

  • I just poured myself a glass (I'm really short and needed a stool to get our wine glasses out...but that's beside the point).

I'm usually a beer drinker, so I only like fofo wine when I DO drink it. Right now I like TWISTED White Zin (Confession- I originally bought it because I liked the packaging colors- pink and black.. it was a bonus that it taste good)

  • chilled Pruno Nero lambrusco is my absolute favorite! I used to have it all the time, but haven't been able to find it since moving away from NYC.

I am extremely lucky! If you love wineries, you should definitely try to plan a trip out here, it is beautiful.

i'm also super short and have a "kitchen help" aka step stool to reach stuff in the tall cabinets!  i keep the wine easily accessible though!

Mmmmm....Red Tree Pinot Noir.  I LOVE it!  (and it's only like 6 dollars a bottle at my "corner liquour store!"  It's a sweeter red, and tastes way more expensive than it is.  Excellent reviews, too!  TRY IT!!!

Also, Promiscuous Red Blend.  Not sure what vineyard makes it.  It is delish!

  • I love Gnarrly Head Pinot Noir, and I love Moscato (especially the one from Olive Garden)
    Daisypath Happy Birthday tickers
  • I'm a cheap wine-o - can't go wrong with Barefoot Pinot Noir :) But I also like Ravenswood Zinfandel & we had a really nice Cab Franc at a restaurant once, I liked it a lot - can't remember the name though.

    Cheers!!
