I posted a new pick of Jack on FB yesterday. Some brain dead redneck @sshole that I went to high school with and who is pregnant, btw, commented:

"OMG Can you imagine how cute he would have been if he wasn't a preemie?"

I deleted the comment and unfriended her. She is dead to me.

I'm seriously so mad I can hardly see straight. I know when Jack was really tiny and I would post pictures of him, he wasn't cute. He was still a fetus for Christ's sake, but people would still patronize me and say how adorable he was. But do you really think I give two shits about whether or not my kid is what YOU consider cute? He's ALIVE. Even if he does have wonky eyes and a flat head because he's a preemie!

But even if preemies have a distinct look, I happen to think no baby is more beautiful than a preemie (but I admit I'm a little biased). There's a special place in hell for her.
