How much weight did your LO gain between six months and a year? I know growth slows down once their become active, but it seems like our little girl hasn't gained any weight between maybe six months and a year? She's grown taller, so it's not like she isn't growing. The pedi didn't say anything as if it was something of concern, but I'm just curious.

Re: Baby weight gain Q
I wish I could remember how much she weighed...but her growth certainly slowed down. She gained a couple of pounds, but it was slower than it was before 6 months, for sure.
DD grew pretty much exactly a pound a month from 6 mos to 1 year. She was exactly 19 lbs at her 6 mo appt and 25 at her 12 mo.
ETA: A lot of babies do slow down significantly the second half of their first year, I wouldn't worry about it unless your ped says something.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

She's definitely no longer in the same percentile as at birth, but then again, she was on the large side at birth. I'm just curious why they didn't say anything...

After 22 months IUI # 3 Clomid + Follistim = BFP

2 more years of failed IF treatments and a failed adoption TTC #3
TTC Journey Over~ Not By Choice
She was in the 90% at birth when she was nearly 9 lbs. She was around 20 lbs. at her six month appointment, and now at a year, she's still about 20 lbs. Part of my concern is that I never see the same doctor each time. I've never been able to get the same one in the practice twice, so it makes me wonder if they are all looking at the same things. It can be good as you get different viewpoints, but now I'm just wondering.
I can understand, that would be frustrating. I know some pediatricians are concerned if they don't grow at all but it's not as if she's way too small now (at least I don't think so since my guy was about the same size). Maybe give a call and ask about it, if they didn't mention it at the appointment (don't remember from the initial post if it was discussed at all or since they didn't mention it if you hadn't asked either). Best of luck - if she eats/drinks normal amounts and otherwise seems to be meeting milestones I would think she's ok!
