  I have a Nikon D5000, and that thing is definitely smarter than me.  I actually read the manual while I was on maternity leave and practiced using the different shooting modes, but I'm also going to take a class so I can learn how to use everything it offers!

  Also, check out MeRa Koh's blog. She has a category: Photography Tips for Moms, which is great to scan through and say I'd like to replicate that - and she tells you how!
