Why am I...

so nervous? I have my appointment today and ever since I have been out of bed, my stomach is going crazy with flutters. I know I am just anxious but I just want to hear that everything is ok.

    I think that is probably normal. Just think how relieved you will be tonight and this weekend knowing exactly what is going on, and more than likely that will be all good things. What time is your appt?

    I have the ultrasound at 1:30 and see the doctor at 2:00 (eastern time).

    NORMAL! Smile I was a wreck the morning of our u/s. I was so worried there wouldnt be anything in there or we'd have to go back a week later because I wasnt as far along as I thought. Everything turned out great and we saw baby right away!

    Totally normal.  I get really nervous (sometimes to the point of throwing up) before every appointment.  Good luck!

    That's how I felt, too!! After our first u/s we did have to wait a week because I wasn't as far along as I thought.  Thankfully, our appointment was at 9am, so I didn't have to feel that way all day.  But my husband, in all his awesomeness, didn't really get that I was nervous...he was looking around at the books about ovulation and fertilization, etc, and was making jokes about vaginas.  I wasn't laughing.  I was trying not to throw up.  As soon as the images came up on the screen the NP said "You did your homework, there it is!!" And I started crying.  And then I heard the heartbeat...and I cried some more.  So, take lots of deep breaths.  You have lots of people sending positive thoughts your way!!!
