What's your favorite thing about your SO? He's the hardest working person I know. He's incredibly smart. His eyes and lips are awesome.1. Down in Bloomington, in December of 2002. I went to IU but he went to PU - although was from Ellettsville. We met when he came home for Christmas break, before I left to come to Fishers.
2. We've been together 9+ years, married for 5.
3. That he can make me calm down, relax, and laugh - when I'm high strung, upset, or stressed about something. That's hard to do.

He was my sister's tennis pro, and stalked me for years before I would let her give him my digits. My opinion of tennis pros was right up there with cabana boys. ICK.

Together for 10 years this April. WOW. Married for 7.
What's your favorite thing about your SO?
Before kids, I would have said my favorite thing was that he's hot. After kids, my very fave thing is that he's a great dad. Isn't it funny how life changes your perspective?

Where did you meet your spouse/SO? The Mineshaft in Broadripple. But it's not like that...We were set up by friends. We were all out as a group for DH's and my respective birthdays.
How long have you been together, and how long married? We've been together 7 years (we met 7 years ago this past Monday) and married for just over 4 years.
What's your favorite thing about your SO? What a wonderful, sensitive human being he is...Especially as a father. He just loves SS soooo... much and they both genuinely like each other. I can't wait to see him with the baby we made together.
Also, his ass is pretty cute too.
Where did you meet your spouse/SO? As mentioned in the check-in, we met at engineering camp at ND between junior and senior year of high school... definitely both geeks! We were both EEs at ND and were lab partners all the way through.
How long have you been together, and how long married? Together 8 years (he remembered our dating anniversary 2 weeks ago and I didn't!!! A first! I blame the pregnancy brain...), married 2.5.
What's your favorite thing about your SO? My favorite thing about Drew is his sense of humor. He's such an easygoing, fun guy and he really balances me. Whenever I get too wrapped up in life, he calms me down and helps me keep things in perspective. I think he's pretty darn cute, too
Where did you meet your spouse/SO? online. both of us were trying out a 2 week trial and coming to the end of the trial time when he emailed me.

What's your favorite thing about your SO? he's a fabulous step-dad to my kid. dating when you have kids is so scary and i was so lucky that they liked each other. and he truly does treat my kid as if he is his own. that's difficult to do when you have other parental influences. it makes me warm and fuzzy (although sometimes hurts my feelings) that my kid would rather hang out with the hub than with his mom
1. Through out best friends in the summer of 2001. We went to the same HS but since it was so big, we had never met. Funny thing that later we realized we had been at a lot of the same parties
2. Our 5 year wedding anniversary is in June and our 10 year dating anniversary is also in June

Brian and I have a similar story, but in college. We were at several of the same gatherings and had a few mutual friends. His roommate was my roommate's cousin.

We met at Ball State. We first starting talking through AIM because my roommate thought he was hot and gave me his SN to see if he was interested in her (which he wasn't) and then we finally met about a month later at a dinner for athletes.
We have been friends for 8 years. Been together for 5 1/2 years and married for 3 this spring.
In college I loved that he was an athlete and of course hot! Now I love that he is such an amazing father and hard-worker allowing me to be a stay at home mom. I have always loved his since of humor and that he can always make me laugh and smile!
Where did you meet your spouse/SO? At school. More specific? At MSU- at his fraternity. And the funny story: I was there with my 2 guy friends helping one move in and set up his room. My 2 friends and I ended up sleeping (fully clothed! So i guess it's more correct to say we passed out) on his little futon. The next day DH asked about me and my guy friend just dialed my # and said "ask her to formal" it's history from there.

What's your favorite thing about your SO?-his laugh. Not his normal laugh but his belly laugh1. at the gym, we knew of each other for several years before we actually talked and started dating.

Where did you meet your spouse/SO?
It's a long story. I was engaged to a guy who dated my now DH's cousin. I met DH one night at a fair when I was with this guy. Shook his hand said nice to meet you. Walked away. A year later, broke off engagement to guy(one of the hardest but best days of my life). Took a year to be by myself and enjoy life. Went to a local hs football game, was introduced to DH again. We realized who we were. He asked my cousin about me..when she told him about my bad breakup he said he thought I needed more time. A year later my cousin and I were chatting online one night and she said she was online talking to him as well and he asked about me. I added him and we started talking online that night, met for pizza that night. And the rest is history. There was some awkwardness when DH got pulled over by my exfiance one night and of course when I went to meet DH's family and met the ex of my exfiance.

We have been together for 7 years and will be married for 5 in June.
What's your favorite thing about your SO?
That he is such a country boy. He's polite, opens doors, asks me if I need help. Kinda reminds me of PW's Marlboro Man.
He still makes me get all jittery,nervous and takes my breath away.

What's your favorite thing about your SO? He's super hot, treats me like I'm the only woman on Earth, is an amazing father to Grady, would do anything for our little family and is just a kind, compassionate guy. Oops, that's more than one thing!

His ability to make me laugh every single day. Laughing together is needed when you both work, have a toddler and a hectic work/travel schedule. I don't know what I would do without him!
Where did you meet your spouse/SO? Online- he did a search on yahoo profiles and my name popped up (among others). I was the only one to respond to his IM, and it went from there.

What's your favorite thing about your SO? He is so good to me. Treats me well even when I'm a snothead and/or hormonal. He treats everyone that way.

Where did you meet your spouse/SO? We were both aero engineers at Notre Dame. I think I first started noticing him junior yr, when he joined ROTC and wore dress blues to our Structures class on Thursdays
He organized a beer pong tourney for the aeros, and after that we started hanging out.

What's your favorite thing about your SO? his honesty, diplomacy, and overall even-keel-ness. ...and his toosh.
DH and I met and the University of Indianapolis - 2001 and I actually was roommates with a friend of his that he went to high school with and worked with in his home town so basically I met him through my college roomie. The kid wouldnt leave me alone and I guess persistence paid off because we have been together ever since.
We will be celebrating 5 years of marriage on July 15th and together for 10 years in august. Cant believe it's been that long!!
When I first met DH his humor, care free attitude, and his athletic body from being on the track team/cross country (ie 6 pack! wow!) is what attracted me. Now it's still his humor and willingness to always help out and make the best of any situation. He's an awesome father to clark!

He started coming to the small group I was in at our church, we hung out with mutual friends for about 3 months and then he finally asked me out. He had been in a long relationship, and had just broken up with said girl about 6 mos. before, so he wanted to make sure he was doing the right thing.

At a party at his fraternity house in college. It was just my sorority and his fraternity and we both went on social probation as a result of that party. We were babies...sophomores and only 19.

We've been together for almost 13 years (Feb 13) and married for just over 7.
What's your favorite thing about your SO?
He's a really good man. Smart, comes from a great family, honest. I trust him with my life. He's also great with money which is a good thing because I am a spender.

Fav thing about DH - I love how friendly/good with people he is. He knows how to have fun and is very witty. These were the first personality traits that I was attracted to. By the same token he's very practical like me, good with money, and handy - all must-haves in my book! I love that he is tall too.

We met through a friend. She went to UM and I went to IU. I went to visit her on my spring break freshman year and he lived on her floor and was a friend of her's. We dated long distance throughout college after meeting.

1. We met at my friend's high school graduation open house two days before I graduated H.S. He had actually dated several of my friends, but we never officially met until that night. He was home for his "summer vacation" from West Point (only 3 weeks or so), and we were inseparable ever since. Our entire relationship was long distance until we married, which was really hard, but I think it made us stronger. We were forced to talk to each other instead of just go to the movies and not talk for a few hours. Ya know?
