washing balls?

Does anyone have experience using the washing balls that contain little ceramic balls inside with CD?s? I just picked one up at the grocery store today and thought I?d try it since it claims that you can greatly reduce the amt. of detergent you use with your laundry.

  • I used those and they started pilling my fleece clothing, so I was a little afraid to use them with diapers. Mine were the ones with the little spiky looking things all over them though...

My husband is 30 years old and if I say "wool dryer ball" he cannot keep a straight face if his life depended on it! Haha, it's pretty funny & we get a lot of laughs at home.. expecially the day I was talking to him about losing a wool ball :)
