I don't usually post on this particular board but am hoping to find some input here
I have been doing pilates for several years but completely stopped during my first trimester (primarily due to morning sickness & fatigue). I started doing Shiva Rea prenatal yoga at the beginning of my second trimester then added Prenatal Vinyasa Yoga to my routine. Recently, I have been looking for more of a workout (as the others felt more like stretching) so I got the Niece Pecenka dvd and I am wondering if anyone on here has done this workout before while pregnant? I am coming up on my 3rd trimester and just felt nervous with the ab workout actually being safe enough during this point in pregnancy. This is my first pregnancy so I don't know a ton about exercising during pregnancy and what movements are considered unsafe. There are many movements done while laying on the back at an incline and a section that completely focuses on abs. I feel nervous using my ab muscles so much - can this hurt my baby? Any advice is appreciated!
