Need to change hospitals and am freaking out! (long)

I switched over to my husband's insurance last year when he got a new job since it was WAY better than my insurance.  We knew we were going to be TTC soon so we made sure to choose a plan that covered woman's care, hospital stays, vaginal births, etc the best and that included the nearest hospital to us (which is 5 minutes away from our house and it is a great hospital.)  We registered at the hospital and took a tour at the beginning of December and I was excited because even though I am sooo behind on preparing everything else for LO's arrival at least I knew she had a safe place to arrive. 

 I got a call today from the nurse at my OB.  Apparently when they tried to schedule my NST at the hospital they let them know that my insurance is no longer accepted at that hospital!  If I hadn't needed the NSTs I wouldn't have known until I was there trying to deliver my baby and they turned me away!  So now I don't have a hospital!  I am supposed to be staying calm and taking care of my blood pressure but thinking about the fact that if I go into labor tonight I have no hospital to go to is freaking me out! 

 I know that I will find a new hospital and all will be fine but I had a plan!  I like having plans and now I don't have a plan.  Ok, vent over...

    Yes, it is good that you found out early,, but no hospital won't turn you away if you are delivering your baby! You'd have one lawsuit !

    Try to relax and stay positive... I know I need to preadmit but kinda putting it off,,, and fill out EDD papers,, but will have hubby help me out with that...

    Everything will work out!!!

    wow how nice of them to tell you before now! (heavy sarcasm) im a firm believer that everything happens for a reason so maybe you wernt suppose to deliver at that hospital for whatever reason. as much as that sucks and as annoying as that is im sure everything will work out just fine for you T&P for you, im sure you'll find something soon

    Thanks ladies. I know I am probably overreacting some and that baby will have a place to arrive but for some reason it hit me hard to think that one of the few things that I had crossed of off my to do list had to be put back on the list.  Thanks for listening...

    I live in Dallas, and there a lot of good hospitals in the area, so hopefully you find another good one that accepts your insurance.
