I have a friend. She has a baby. She know all about our IF struggles. I posted on FB that I wanted pancakes and bacon so she responded

"are u pregnant??? :D This prego one understands these weird cravings... ;D"

 I think it is supposed to be a pregnancy announcement. I think she is waiting for me to say congrats, but I can't stop crying.

    If I even mention that fact that I sneezed of FB I have a PG friend say, " Does this mean what I think It means?" I just ignore her now. She started TTC a year after me and is in her 3rd Tri. When she says this kind of stuff It feels like a punch it the gut!

    Thank you! Good grief. I think she was just waiting for an opportunity to tell me she is "PREGO." Crazy wench.

    I'm so sorry she is being so insensitive. Why does it seem like no one knows how to act appropriately when it comes to infertility? I think I would chose to ignore her, maybe even hide her on FB.  ((HUGS))

    I crave pancakes and bacon on a regular basis. Bacon is so much tastier when doused in maple syrup. That being said, I think FB is a completely in appropriate venue for pregnancy announcements if you are actually IRL friends. One of my friends told me she was pregnant over lunch yesterday, and while it was hard to hear (they started trying a year after we did), at least she had the decency to do it in person so I didn't have to find out over FB. I'm so sorry you had to deal with that.

    Diagnosed PCOS 2/07, TTC #1 since 8/09
    11/10 - Clomid Round 1 = BFN
    12/10 - Clomid Round 2 = BFN
    1/11 - Voluntary Break = BFN (duh)
    2/11 - Clomid Round 3 = BFN

    I would be tempted to just be flat out rude to her in hopes that it would send a warning to other people!!
