Would this be totally weird?

There's a local baby boutique in my town that sells some cloth diapers. They don't have a ton but they have a pretty good selection. I'm in the store quite a bit and am friendly with the manager. They had a Thirsties rep in there today and I was chatting with him. It got me thinking...

Would it be totally weird if I approached the manager about having a CD class at the store? I feel like people are overwhelmed when they look at CDs. I could give a little explanation about the different kinds of CDs, washing and general care, answer questions, etc.

This is sparked by the fact that 2 people have approached me lately and asked about Ds' CDs. They both said they tried but couldn't figure out what they were doing so they gave up.

    Not at all.  I wish CDs were more easily available.

    I think it's a great idea. All it takes is someone to give them the idea, and I'm sure it would be a hit.

    Get out of my brain.  I was talking to DH the other day about approaching CP to see if there was any interest for a class.  Not kidding.

    I'm interested in co-teaching if you would like.

    I think it is a great idea!  I have people ask me all the time why I do it when it is more work and so expensive!  So many people are misinformed!  And it is a little overwelming when starting out:)

    EEE!  Excited!  Between us both, we would have just about every diaper there is to showcase/demonstrate, I think.

    I don't think it would be weird at all. That is actually a great idea. I was scared of the CDing at first. It took my coworker 6 months of convincing me after Jeanne was born to get me to switch. My mom was mad when I did because she told me I wouldn't have time to keep up with it. Then she came up to my house and saw the new CD. She was used to the flats and pinning. That's what most people think of when they hear CD

    The boutique that does a class here charges. $25 each or $35 for a couple. I think that's just ridiculous.

    It wouldn't be ridiculous for the store to pay you, though. Stick out tongue Or offer a cut of the CD sales post-seminar.

    Not weird at all.  Great idea :)

    DD1 born 5/24/10.

    Missed M/C at 14 wks Feb 2012.

    Missed M/C at 9 wks July 2015.

    Expecting someone new 4/17/17.

    I don't think that would be weird at all!  I wish that stores near me offered CD classes, but there actually aren't any stores in my city that sell CDs.  I'd love to open up a store of my own eventually...
