Please strap your furniture and tvs!

Okay, not a "cloth diapering" topic but one I wanted to share with my Mommy friends!

This happened this week, to a good friend of my SIL.  Her friends 4 year old died after a TV fell on her head and she got a concussion and brain hemorrhage. Awful. :(  I'm not sure exactly how the TV ended up falling on her, but I'm sure it was not strapped down.  I cannot even IMAGINE!

    wow, that's horrible...we are hoping to babyproof next week, so that is a great reminder

    Always a good PSA. I also know a 2 year old that this happened to (TV fell on her). Unfortunately the child died. We're going to screw our TV base into our stand as well. The new flat screen's center of balance is just not safe anymore. 

    I pulled a dresser down on myself when I was about 3. I still remember it to this day.

    That's horrible Sad I feel so bad for that family. We have all our furniture strapped down, thankfully.
