NB stash question: small covers

I am only planning on using fitteds for the newborn stage. After that I am moving on to pockets and ai2's.  I have a bunch of xs and small covers. Will I be needing the smalls?

    It all depends on how big your babies are! My LO was a peanut (4th%), so we needed the smalls before her BGs fit.

    I think it really does depend on how big your baby is. Lila is 11 weeks and we are still using the xs and duo size 1s with the KL0s. We're using the smalls when we put her in her GMs, MSs, B4s etc. We have BG Elementals and we're not on the smallest snap right now at her waist, but the thigh hole is still too big, so we have to be careful of leaks. I don't know what brand you have either, since some are sized differently.
