Would my diaper genie elite work for cloth diapers and the cloth wipes? or is that a bad idea?

    Isn't the point of the diaper genie that it automatically wraps each diaper in a little plastic wrap to seal in the smells? (I have no idea, I don't own one)> If so, it sounds like a bad idea to me, because you'd have to rip the bags apart to wash. I just throw mine in a washable diaper bag with a zipper on the bottom and then just undo the zipper over the wash and throw the bag in after it. Easy as pie.

    Cloth needs to "breath" for it to not stink.  You don't want to put it into any airtight container.
