It's not been a good day.
I made my list of things we needed, changed purses because I didn't want to put my new phone in my old bag that was full of Audrey's snack crumbs, and off we went.
Spent an hour walking around while Audrey quietly watched her video (yes, go ahead and judge me, that's how I keep her quiet while I shop
Got my groceries, picked out and tried on a new shirt for me, got her some new sippy cups. Waited in line to check out... then realized I didn't put my wallet in my new purse. Sh!T!!!
So I told the guy I'd be right back. No it wasn't in my car, but I live 15 minutes away, I'll be right back. Do I need to take my stuff to customer service? No, he says it'll be fine right here.
Drive home, get Audrey a snack (it's after lunch and pushing nap time,) jump back in the car and off we go.
Back inside Target... my groceries are nowhere to be found. And Audrey was not enjoying being back in that cart, que the complete meltdown. They said they must have been restocked (in half an hour???) but I was welcome to look through the 10 or so baskets of restocking stuff back in customer service. No thank you.
So, tomorrow I get to do it all over again. No point to this story, but you must be having a better day than me, right?
Re: Two trips to Target today and I still don't have my groceries.
Augh!!! I've done that too!
Friday DH had to drop of the rental car he used for work all week. Dropped it off- went to work and realized he didn't get a receipt for the car. Went back and got the receipt then headed back to work. Got to work to fill out the expense report to realize he had left his laptop in the rental car... back to the rental place then back to work. Worked for 2 hours then headed home. The car rental is right by our house!!! lol
