Will nursing tanks provide enough support. I am like a 40 DDD. I don't wanna waste the money if they won't provide enough support. If you didnt get nursing tanks, what brand of nursing bra would you reccomend?
Bravado totally rocked for DD.... I also just got a glamour mom one for this kiddo. Same with bras... Bravado! Check Ebay for steals on brand new ones!

I'm a 30F and wore nursing tanks to sleep and maybe eat breakfast but certainly not out and about without a bra. They aren't going to give you more support than a cami with a shelf bra. At the moment I am wearing an Anita bra. My breasts balooned when my milk came in. Also a cheap fix is to cut holes in an old tank top positioned over your nipples and wear a top with a v neck over it. You have to be careful you can't see the outline though.

I love my nursing tanks but like pp said, I wouldn't go out and about in them. I love my nursing bra as well which doesn't have underwire but has a lot of support. I'm a 38 DD so very close to your size. Between the 2 I should have a lot of support plus if I'm not wearing a great nursing top, I feel more comfortable with the layering of the nursing tank over the bra becuase it doesn't show skin if I have to lift up my shirt if that makes any sense.
I never found a good bra w/ DD. I just wore my Victoria's Secret cotton full coverage ones if we were going out and I wanted my boobs to not be saggy. It was maybe once a month. If we were running to the grocery store or to visit my parents or something I would just wear a nursing tank w/ a tshirt over it. I'm a 38 DD. Quite honestly, I just didn't care. Once DD stopped nursing so frequently, around 5-6 mos, I started to wear a regular bra almost daily.
I really like my Glamour Mom tanks. My mom bought me 2 for Christmas right after DD was born and another one this year. They're $39 per tank, so I can't make myself buy them but they are really supportive (compared to a regular tank w/ built in bra) and nice and long so I don't have any stomach peeking out.
