we had a little baby bjorn one which was great for when he was first exploring and couldn't get on the big potty himself. Then a potty insert by baby bjorn which had the bigger splash guard. Then straight to the big potty. He used both the standalone potty and the insert very briefly, so it might seem like a waste, but they were great transitioners.

Also, the potette potty is great for keeping in the car

We also bought the little Baby Bjorn potty chair and ended up selling it because it was used a whopping 3 times. The boys did not take to it at all. We do have the BB potty insert with the splash guard that is very helpful but we have discovered one kiddo likes it and the other detests it. All in all it's been a great buy for us. I'm looking into getting a toilet seat that has the hidden smaller seat for kiddos.

We have the FB princess one but they have one that's not girly. It plays music when they go potty so it's supposed to aid the process.

BUT we got a new toilet seat with a toddler seat attached and it is AWESOME. We don't have to have a potty chair anymore, so no cleaning that out, and we don't have to have the potty chair sitting in our bathroom all the time. N liked the regular seat better so we just have a little stool for her to climb up with.

We have this one. But they have them at home depot and walmart etc.

We got and love this: 4 in 1 Soft Seat Toilet Trainer

She used the small potty for a couple months to get used to the idea of having a potty (before I ever started actual training), and then quickly transitioned to having the seat on the toilet itself when we started potty training.
