As I anxiously await my little girl, my mind has often wondered about all the unknown aspects of parenthood. I know there aren't really any hard and fast rules when it comes to raising children but I'm curious what comes to your minds when you think about having your first baby (or second or third!). What do you worry about? concerns? thoughts? goals?

Re: What do you worry about most?
It's actually nt that hard, newborns kind of ease us into the whole parenting thing! At first, they're really just lumps of people who need round the clock caretaking, and when they start to test things and learn things that's when the teaching comes in- but that's not for a whole 9 months or so! Plenty of time to be ready for the kind of little personality you're going to have to learn how to handle.
The thing I'm most worried about right now is my sinus infection. It sounds silly, but I don't want to be delivering and not be able to breathe through my nose when I need to, or being kept from kissing her sweet face because I don't want her to get it.
My stuff is grass green, and I see the OB on Weds. so hopefully she can get me on some antibiotics to clear this up asap! The rhinitis is harmless and not contagious, but this infection is and I can't imagine giving this to a newborn.
BF'ing has become a huge concern of mine.
And time going too fast...I can't believe my DS is 11!
All of the above, but mostly this ^
Also, how well our 3 dogs will do with the baby, and how I will be able to handle the 3 dogs and a newborn??
